Dr. George Collard

Dr. Collard joined the team at Cobequid Animal Hospital in August of 2005 after moving back to the East Coast with his wife and two children. He had previously resided in Bracebridge, Ontario and owned a mixed small and large animal practice after he graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 1991 As an associate veterinarian at Cobequid Animal Hospital, Dr. Collard is passionate about surgery, orthopedic surgery (TLPO, TTA, Cruciate Repair) and ultrasonography. He is great with animals and people alike; Dr. Collard's sincere and down-to-earth personality shines through in his exam room. Dr. Collard is also an active member of the community. In his spare time, he volunteers as the Captain of the Bedford Volunteer Firefighters. He loves spending his free time with his family and is always out on the trail with his two black labs Ruth and Steve.
